Until the BodyMetrix System arrived, tracking both fat loss and muscle gain was not a task easily accomplished. In fact, the only other methods available were expensive x-ray CT and MRI scans. With the BodyMetrix you can scan a part of the body to track local fat loss and muscle gain. The recorded scans can be saved for future comparison to accurately track changes in fat and muscle thickness. This is an excellent way to show your clients that their training and diet programs are working.

The images above are ultrasound scans generated using the BodyMetrix System. Both scans are of the front right side of persons thigh. Scanning from the midpoint of the thigh down towards the top of the knee, approx. 6-7 inches.
In the Before scan, the average fat thickness in that area was 11.5mm, and the average muscle thickness in that area was 30.0mm.
In the After scan, the average fat thickness in that area was 7.4mm, and the average muscle thickness in that area was 35.4mm.
Overall, this clients total fat loss averaged: 4.1mm and the average muscle gain was 5.4mm.
These scans can be saved for future comparison to accurately track changes in fat and muscle thickness.
